Ask Real Estate is celebrating its double win at the annual Insider North West Property Awards 2017. The ceremony, held at Manchester Central on 11 May 2017, gathered more than 1,000 of the region's top professionals, developers, agents and architects to celebrate the North West's achievements over the past 12 months.
And the big prize on the night was won by Managing Director, John Hughes, who was crowned Property Personality of the Year. The award which is voted for by members of the wider property community, recognised that John is the man behind some of the biggest developments in Manchester commercial property in recent years and that with him at the helm, Ask is continuing to transform the Manchester skyline.
Together with its JV partners, Tristan Capital Partners and Carillion, Ask was awarded the prestigious accolade of commercial development of the year for 101 Embankment, beating its rivals in what was a very a strong shortlist.
According to the judges, the scheme is a major catalyst in regenerating the Greengate area of Salford, adding that the jobs Embankment had secured and the residential developments springing up around Embankment were testament to its success.
Joel Durkin, North West Business Insider's features editor, praised the standard of all the finalists and said: "I’ve been blown away by the quality of the entries in every category and the passion and willingness of many of you to get involved and help however you can."
The awards were hosted by actor and comedian Dave Spikey and raised money for NORFOX, supporting Reuben’s Retreat.
