Alison joined Ask in January 2018 from Arcadis. With extensive experience of project management having worked on both the client side and consultant side, to date she has been responsible for delivering projects with a total construction value of over £1.2b.
With a firm knowledge in the overall strategic financial and programme management of mixed use developments, Alison acted as Project lead as Employers Agent and Contract Administrator in the delivery of the £35m leisure phase of First Street, Manchester. Her role included extensive management of external stakeholders and clients, ensuring all requirements were met and changes were managed effectively, enabling a timely completion in April 2015.
At Newbury Racecourse, where David Wilson Homes was the development partner on the scheme, Alison worked as Development Monitor. With a construction value of c.£350m, this project comprised new homes, car parking, estate yards, a nursery, hostel facilities and the refurbishment of various stands. Alison’s role ensured that the Development Agreement was adhered to, the progression of site works in accordance with the overall strategic programme, together with responsibility for risk management and quality control throughout the project.
Working alongside Neil Pickup, Alison manages the design and delivery of development projects within the Ask mixed use portfolio, including the 245 unit PRS residential phase at Tower Works, Leeds and the 310 bedroom Staycity Hotel in Manchester City Centre.
